Ingredients:
- Cooked Millet - 2 cups (Recipe here)
- Oil - 1 teaspoon + 1 tablespoon for pan frying
- Onions or Leeks - 1 medium size chopped finely
- Carrot - 1 small chopped finely
- Capsicum / Bell Peppers - ½ chopped finely
- Green Chillies - 1 chopped finely
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
How to make Millets Tikki
- 1. Heat a teaspoon of oil, add in all veggies, ginger garlic paste, chillies and saute till golden.
- 2. Now add in salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder and ketchup. Mix well.
- 3. Add in cooked millet and mix well.
- 4. Add in coriander leaves and mix well. Remove this to a bowl, cool it down.
- 5. Now take a small portion and shape it into ball. Flatten it lightly.
- 6. Pan fry it little oil till it is crispy and golden.
- 7. Remove and serve.
